About Us
WEM Health Integrated Services (WEMHIS)
Is an indigenous Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in the late 1990s by women volunteering their services to the society
What We Do
initially respond to HIV and AIDS
at that time when the disease was only starting to be discussed publicly with high levels of stigma and marginalization. The organization grew pm community goodwill and demand to access HIV prevention, treatment and care services.
Focus Program Activities
Empowered communities
supporting the marginalized the most vulnerable (women, children and youth boys and girls) access basic rights (food, health care, education/ skills, safeguarding and protection).
Increased collaboration
and collective response among grassroot actors at community level, county government and service providers.
