Objective

Enhance the capacity of rural communities in Kiambu County, especially youth and women, to actively engage in the design, development, and implementation of innovative, climate-smart aquaculture solutions.

Focus Areas:

1. Access to Climate-Smart Technologies: Enable rural communities, particularly youth and women, to adopt technologies that help mitigate the impacts of climate shocks.

2. Scaling Community Response to Climate Shocks: Strengthen rural communities’ resilience by expanding their ability to adapt and respond effectively to climate challenges.

3. Promoting Fish Farming for Food Security: Increase the number of community groups successfully practicing aquaculture to improve household nutrition and generate income.
